Herbert… my new love

So, i have this friend and he has recently acquired a Hereford calf whose momma didn’t want anything to do with it. My friend, Johnny, is at college this week and his mom and dad work so i went and bottle fed the little calf. i also named him Herbert. DSC01504 this is him.

I also told dad i want Herbert. his response I'll think about it, but i don’t want a bottle baby.

Sister please help talk dad in to letting me get a baby cow!

Taking a break

Workin on my homework, but of course i find 100 other things to do, also. so yesterday was pretty much a lazy day, but work was very productive. Tina & I Cleaned, we moved everyting that was not attached or that we should move and cleaned it off and behind it. i think we definitely earned our pay at the Dairy Bar last night. then i went to Tyler's for a bit.

then today i went to Tyler's. we cleaned out the camper, went to town didn’t find anything there, then went back to his house in time for a wonderful lunch. then i fell asleep on the couch. It was a good lazy day though i felt much better after my nap.

Life is good

  1. No School
  2. No work
  3. Football Friday
  4. Kind of learned to drive stick
  5. Saw Tyler
  6. House sitting

Today i didn’t have to work or go to school!!! i don’t have to work at the hospital till next Thursday =) this excites me if you couldn’t tell. I'm not the biggest fan of my job, but its a job. however i do get to see Sandy, Tyler’s momma! She’s great. i definitely don’t think I'd make it through some days at work without her.

Also today i got to see Tyler before and After his football game which they won by the way. i was super pumped i hadn’t seen him since last Sunday really, so i missed him a bunch. Tomorrow he has lawnmower pulls. So I'm hoping the best for him<3

Driving the trucks for dad today while doing hay, which consisted of me driving and him walking throwing the bales in the bed and stacking them. Well i am not totally educated on how to work a manual. so it was not a smooth process by any means. it was a slow process which had a lot of jerky stops, take offs and staling. i think dad got a like flustered but oh well you’ll have that. if he wasn’t prepared ten he shouldn’t have made me drive it to begin with.
